Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, "Lipstick under my burkha" tells the story of four ordinary women who, oppressed by societal norms, have to steal, lie, cheat and hide in order to lead the lives that they rightfully deserve. The film premiered at the Tokyo and Mumbai Film Festivals, where it won the Spirit of Asia Prize and the Oxfam Award for Best Film on Gender Equality
